Jewelry Magazine - Julia Dobie

I designed a magazine centered around exploring grid systems, and I featured Julia Dobie, a jewelry maker and Montana State University graphic design alum. I wanted the layout to feel cohesive and intentional while still letting her work stand out, so I focused on building a structure that supported the imagery without overpowering it. I used a color palette inspired by Montana’s natural landscape, pulling soft nude and pastel tones directly from the photos to help everything feel connected. The final piece came together as a calm, clean design that let the jewelry really shine within a balanced and thoughtful layout.
