David Carson Inspire Magazine Layout
This David Carson–inspired magazine was all about pushing into a more edgy, rule-breaking style. The goal wasn’t to make everything perfectly clean or straightforward, but instead to keep it feeling connected while still a little chaotic. It’s meant to make you pause, look twice, and find your own meaning within the mess.
A Shift in Style
This project was also a challenge for me because I naturally gravitate toward structure and strong grid systems as a designer. Stepping away from that and intentionally breaking the rules felt uncomfortable at first, but it pushed me to loosen my approach and trust more instinct and experimentation in my process.
